yeah not looking to weld. gna get the bracket for sure. and well does the 44mm make a difference compared to the 38mm? i dont see why going with the 44mm will be better??? correct me if im wrong but doesnt it just depend on how much itll handle and with the stock turbo shouldnt the 38mm be just fine?

The question is, do you plan on going bigger turbo wise? Even if you don't, it's not that much more to go with the 44mm as opposed to the 38mm. No such thing as too big, plus IF you ever decide to sell it, 44mm is easier for those guys that want to make big power

aaaahhh i seee. well yeah i dont really plan on going bigger turbo. maybe not just yet, maybe in the LOOONG run. just wanna go with something small and simple for now. ill look into that 44mm. does it affect anything in anyway? as in sound wise, performance wise?

Sounds great and I liked how Chris from AMS did my tune, the power curve was so smooth. Numbers were ok, 276/263 with basically a stage 3 with EWG added and a conservative tune

Usually they're here twice a year. I'm happy with my results and I'm sure that any one that tuned with AMS can say the same

I have a Tial MV-R (44mm) currently on the 05 sti with the stock vf39.
I upgraded the injectors 740cc, tuned it up. Obnoxious might be one definition... love it tho.

Chris Black @ AMS tuned.
If you need any help locally, LMK. pm. I'm out in ewa as well.

Here's a short vid of mine from last weekend, Evo school here in hawaii.

Hey man,

I have a 2006 STi. It's a nice DD setup. EWG is loud once you open it up. I can tell you this....before when I was just stage 2 STi (non-ewg) I would floor it more. Now...I am very selective when I floor the car.

Stock VF39 turbo
Catted turboback
Perrin EL headers
Grimmspeed EWG UP
TiAL 44mm EWG
Walbro FP
DW 850cc injectors
Cobb SF intake
Hallman MBC
Tuned by Ed @ EQTuning

290whp/330wtq

Couldn't agree more with that statement. I definitely do the same.
