$200 Dollar ECU
http://www.megasquirt.info/
Like the title says you can have a new fully reconfigurable, Open Source. ECU for about $200. You would have to know a little about electronics, or ask me to help out. I also have a contact that will order, assemble, Load all of his custom software, put a basic tune for your application, and ship it to you for about $400.
This $400 ECU comes with all of the software you need to tune it yourself. The guy also adds his custom hardware and software to control a NO2 prespooler(NO2 Kit not included).
For anyone who doesn't now what this is, you could have your car fire a moderate shot of NO2 only when the Throttle position switch it at a certain level (Floored most likely) and only until a certain RPM or BOOST level. This shot on NO2 would Compensate for low boost while the turbo is still spooling up.
You can have a new ECU that you can tune yourself, or have it work with the stock ECU all for about the price of a boost controler. (This device does control boost also)
If you want some more info on this PM me and I'll send you the guy's contact info. I've read a huge about about this product and can probley help out with most questions.

FYI
I am not making any $ from this. This is not recommended for anyone who is a novice or doesn't want to learn alot of info about tuning cars. Everything I posted above is not the only fuction of this ECU. You can pretty much set it up to do anything you want. It will also work with your stock ECU. You could get this just to control boost, or ignigion timing, fuel management, or any combination of things.

hmm... this used to be totally free, even had the schematics and all.. but of course, as time passes most everything can't stay "free".
Bot surely there have been lots of improvements and tweaking.
