Where do u guys get ur cars fixed?

My gf's car is doing a funny idle thing, going from 500 RPM to 1000, back down to 800... is an RS supposed to do that? Any one might know what the problem is or know of a shop I can take it too besides the stealership? Car is still under warrenty, so idk... Thanks in advance.

Yeah...your car is under warranty and you're NOT gonna take it to the dealership? What do you think the warranty is for?

Take it to Ohana Subaru in Waipahu right away.

Ohana Subaru ain't going to charge you anything if it is under warrenty. Go there and talk to Braun in the service Dept

Does your lights flicker too? Might be the alternator if it does. If not, it's just that the ac puts more load onto your engine, but if your idle flutters through out the time you run your ac, then I'm clueless.

I dont think there is a real problem, It normally Idle's at 500-600, when the a/c get turned on it jumps to 1000 then goes back to 800. then every coupe of minutes it'll jump to 1000 and then back down to 800. It only jumps like that when the a/c fan kicks on and off, and only if the temp control set to a moderate postion (Not all the way cold).

For Kaleo003, Turn your A/C off and see if you get the same problem.
