it finally happened

my transmission went boom after 22xxx miles. ive complained many times about my transmission and every time they say thats normal and never check it. so im waiting to see what subaru says today they said they need to tear it down and see if they are warranting it.. if not i owe them 900 for the tear down ill let you guys know what they say.

seriously, 22k is hardly even broken in and ur tranny went boom, thats some horse **** id be pissed, and then to top it off you might have to pay them 900 just for the tear down.

yah screw that when i was workin at subie were given DBag kids new clutches at 3k just because they were under warranty and knowing it was there fault.
you complained and its not your fault they better own up!

I wouldnt pay for the 900 bro if they dont which they should since you dont have a aftermarket flywheel or clutch or gears. They should of told you at the start if it is warrantied or not before the tear down due to it costing that much for it. Thats what they did on my Rack and Pinion that toasted.

update! so subaru says that my bearings came apart in my transmission they said they usually dont come apart? they are waiting to hear back from subaru america if they are covering it. the way it sounds is they probably arent. and since my car is there for work im entitled to a loaner car but all they say is they dont have any i fu**ckin hate this dealership right now

How could that not be covered? Its a mechanical failure. What good is a warranty if they won't honor it???

your tellin me! subaru america should get back to them tomorrow and they will call me but like weaver said my sister and dad will raise hell this is the whole reason why my parents made me buy a new car because of a warranty!

i havent clutch dropped my car is all stock! except springs and wheels and exterior stuff.

If they deny we'll do a Def'Sik stealership takeover. Fill up all Their parking spots with our cars and leave zero room for their customers. In my experience, dealership service depts are run by a monkey in a suit who is an advocate for the company, not the customer. I have no time for their holier than thou self importance.
