Car Info: 1998 Impreza L EJ22
I have a 98 Impreza with an EJ22. Can this be turboed? Or should I just do a complete engine swap Also, about how much is each gonna run me?
Let me also say that this car has about 75k miles on it, should I just leave it how it is and go with bolt-on's or go ahead and get the whole shabang?

can it be turboed? yes, there are a few kits available cost is from a bit over 3,000 and up
Should you do a swap? depends on what you want. The EJ20 will give you more power and more reliable power than the EJ22 but will cost more to build and need more fabrication. I believe (if I remember correctly) cost would start at around 6,000 and run up with the more mods/power you wanted.
75k is not that many and what you should do is completely dependent on your goal and dedication (both fiscal and personal)

I was looking through some posts last night and I found one than had links to ludespeed and forced air technologies, and I found some entry-level kits, but I think I'm gonna save up a little more and get the stage 2 with the intercooler. Does it really make a big difference?
