now I'm pretty sure I sensed sarcasm there but just to be certain, you do know that those (and I'm talking about the "computer" not the filter) dont work, right?

 

Yessir. See 'winkie', above. Basically, any poor joe who buys the above package bought himself a K&N filter for a hundred bucks.

Cobb sells it at close to list retail for $59, while SubaruParts.com has it for $46.

I know that these 'black box' devices have been around for a while (WTLW, and all) but I wanted to post a pic of this particular package since the inclusion of the K&N filter might hoodwink some people into thinking this package is legitimate.

But, yeah, appreciate the warning just the same, thanks.

EDIT: Heck, I just noticed that the thread's already been moved out of General, where I thought it would do the most good. Ah, well...
