I am a former acura owner 98gsr/2k1itr/94gsr both gsrs got stolen and my itr been jacked 2x for parts so im tired of making thieves rich.
I would like to have a new sti but im still going to school (will get one out of school!
my question is the differences in looks of the impreza i like the 98 looks but i am not too sure if it resembles the 92-96 imprezas.
2nd question is how much a swap would be because i will eventually do one because i found a 92/95/96 impreza around my town and all them are awd. also the legality of the engines in the car i forgot if its the older the car you can have a newer engine or vice versa. I live in california so i want it to be smog legal.
Im located in the bay area so any subaru shops that are good are appreciated.

Adam can definitely hook you up with an amazing conversion. As has been said before, it's California/50 state legal as well.
