Problems? Be a little more specific, such as STI short block swap or complete motor swap? We've done both block swaps and complete motor swaps in WRX's and in some of our conversions. Neither have been an issue and have even been certified by the state referee.

If you're not doing it yourself, figure 10-12k total for a complete, comprehensive swap. You can cut corners down to maybe $8k.

Same as any other RS. In a '93 and up Subaru, swaps vary in details but not in general terms.
