Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Spark Plug Difference in EJ25 series

Is there any difference in the spark plugs for the 98 DOHC compared to the other years' SOHC? Cause on http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/gc8-drivetrain.html , the price difference is really big for the 98 DOHC and the other years. Is there a reason why, besides maybe that since the DOHC for the impreza was made for only one year, but the legacys had the 2.5 DOHC for a while right. Well thanks for the input.

I don't know about other manufacturers, but NGK only offers a platinum plug for the DOHC EJ25. It's part number PFR5B-11, stock number 2300.
