Okay I am getting CEL with 2/4 cylinder misfired. Well, first time with 2/4 and just this morning with 4 only. Suspecting bad plugs, wire, or even coil. Will start with the cheapest route first, plugs. I've seen a lot of people using NGK, but that sucker is expensive! I use Champion for my Protege and it seems to be okay. But even NGK has bunch of them and just wondering which to use.

And for spark plug wires and ignition coils, I have no idea. Help? Thanks!

okay, picked up some NGK 2756 V-Power last night and cleared the CEL (I think it's still in the ECU). I'll drive around some more to see if it pops up again. If yes, I might consider chaning the fuel filter beofer I do the wires. I've read on scoobymods that fuel filter could cause CEL misfire as well. We'll see. So any idea on the spark plug wires and ignition coil?
