Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

red line my 2.5RS

Im just wonder is it really bad if you red line the car???? becaue i was at 4th gear@4 or 5000rpm and i shift down to 3th gear by accident. And the power it just cut out and i shift it back to 4th. i was so worry if my engine is going to blow up???? could you guys please tell what you think???? THanks

A 4th to 3rd shift at higher rpms shouldnt be that bad, especially if it was only for a split second. If it was like 4th to 2nd, you would probably have fubared the motor if it was engaged for any sort of decent period of time...

i redline my03 in first gear sometimes on accident...i felt the fuel cut once..is that bad? 1st gear is the only gear that i redline in...

No, the fuelcut is there to prevent damage. If you hit it all day every day you wouldnt do anything to the motor. Presuming its stock

sweet! no damage! i did it today again on accident...i was getting off the side of the road on 92 after i got pulled over by the chp. my friend who was sitting in the passenger seat wasn't wearing the seatbelt and the chp caught him...
