Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

I had to think about this for a bit. You know something though?!? There's a lot of money to be made doing something like this. Let your customer base decide. You can make something better as well if you choose but it may be easy to 'copy' a header that's already out but just have it be cheaper. People'll flock to you like flies on poop (If flies could flock. ?).

I'm telling you! If you made a header like TWE but cost hundreds of dollars less, you could make a killing depending on how much it costs you to make. Some people won't like this but you'll find a whole bunch of others happily driving they Imprezas and such with a good header. It's just link the imitation fashion pocketbooks, shirts and such.

I dunno! It seems you have the resources to make this happen and you could probably reap huge benefits from doing it. At any rate, good luck!

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the delay. I recently joined the Local Fire Department and I'm training to be a volunteer Fire Fighter. The classes are 3 days a week after work and are long and hard. It has kept me to busy to get to Cody's shop.

I've just about got my routine down and work coughed up so I'll be in Cody's shop within the next two weeks. I also have a small Vacation that I'll be on from September 22nd - 27th...

__________________________________________________ _______________

Just so you guys know what our next two projects are:

2.2L:

We are making a one piece header/cat combo. This means we are eliminating the middle Cat section of the exhaust system and making it part of the header.

Q:Why are we doing this might you ask???

A: We think that we can make a powerful set up that you’ll enjoy and won’t have to worry about buying a center cat set.

Q: Will you be making a set that is only the header so we can buy our own set of Highflow center cats???

A: Yes we are. We are also going to make the Center cat sections to go with our exhaust setups...

1.8L:

We are making a header set and a Highflow cat section. This project will be followed by a Single Header/Cat combo and followed by a Race header setup.

__________________________________________________ _______________

Near Future:

2.5L:

We will be making all sorts of header combinations including "One" header set that closely resembles one of "your Favorites" (e.g. Brullen headers for the EJ25)that are already out there.

What I want to do is see what Header set you 2.5l guys like the most but don’t want to pay the big $800.00+ for. I will set up a pole after we get about 5 different types that you guys are interested in. The winning Pole will be one of our first projects for the 2.5l engines.

I’m going to have you guys email your 2.5 header requests at: wishes@subarformance.com

I don’t want the requests for this project filling up pages in this thread.

My web guy is out of town for a few days so "I will ask that you guys wait until September 22nd before sending me these emails unless I notify you sooner" that this email link is up...

__________________________________________________ _______________

I will try to get the sound bytes out to you guys soon... I also have a friend that has the ability to shoot some video and put it on the web for me...

Again, sorry for the big delay.

Marc

2.5l

If you guys can include one (1) high-flow cat into the 2.5L headers that would be awesome. I would much prefer to buy headers w/ cat rather than worrying about buying seperate pieces like a Random tech or Stromung cat. Looking forward to seeing what designs you guys come up with

For the 2.2L, are you making both single and dual port headers?

The Link is up and ready for your requests...

Remember, I need to see which header you guys want me to build, e.g. your dream Header...

I'll put up a Pole with the top 5 when I feel I have enough requests...

That set will be pretty easy to make... It's not all that much different than the single port set I'm testing now...

There will be a few changes though... I don't think I would have Cody include the cross sections that they have used...

We shall see... ; )

Wow! If you could undercut the $$$ for that header, you and/or Cody are bound to make a good deal of $$$$.
