Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

I'm wondering if this is such a good idea. Seems going from 2" to 2.25" would be best or even going 2" to 2.25" to 2". I'm assuming the 2" part is the header diameter itself, while the 2.25" would be the exhaust piping and/or cat converter. The reason why I say this is because of the importance of keeping the exhaust flow high. Constantly going to a bigger size only slows it down. Going to a slightly smaller size the further away the exhaust piping is from the exhaust port would help keep exhaust velocity high.

I dunno how I could answer this properly. I can't say the velocity will slow down 'x' amount. It's all theory anyway. I hate theories! I'm actually hoping he gets on the dyno and blows all that velocity crap out of the water.

Best to just wait and see the results of the dyno tests. I wish I had sound proof so I can say....see...this is what I mean how exhaust piping size works on the 2.2ltr Impreza. Unfortunately, I have 3 Subarus that I have to upkeep which is draining me. I haven't really had the joys of getting started seriously modding 2 of them. *sniffle*

<----In the corner awaiting results. Good luck!

Any chance you guys would consider making a replica of the Brullen headers for the EJ25 ? Buying a new set costs $1040 w/ cat.... thats just wayy too much. Lemme know what you think, pic of the Brullens posted below..

Yea well Gruppe-s made replicas of the Borla headers a while back for the EJ25... many parts these days come in replica form. I don't see how it would be a complication.

Why would we want to copy anything? Cody is very inventive. We will make something better, so Borla can copy us instead... : p

Very true, well if you can come up with some mean sounding headers with good gains for the EJ25 I will definetly be interested.... though they would have to include a high flow cat. Don't wanna run catless over here in Cali = big fines.
