Car Info: 1993/2000/2001 GF4 mostly red
You have 3 choices now.
1) Cams- might give you another 10-15 horsepower.
2) Forced induction- another 50-100 depending on how much you spend
3) Nitrous- cheap now, expensive later.
I'd go straight to #2 and skip the others personally.

You could look at doing the turbo kit route like he said but to do it the right way it will cost around $4K. Then again you could look into swapping in a turbo Forester motor into your car since it has to be about the same amount only it will be built for a turbo application.

Since Subaru now has the Turbo Forester you may try a swap, AVO has a turbo kit( www.spomotorsports.com ), Ludespeed has kits( www.forcedairtech.com ) and www.imprezars.com has some also.
Most important is to do your homework because IIRC the engine(Phase I) that you have is more prone to blown head gaskets if you're not careful and there's a few RS-T's owners who can give you some additional insight.

Just give it a couple months and there will be wrecked XT Foresters. Maybe you can get lucky and get it from the junkyard for $2K, swap it in yourself and pay a shop to sort out the wiring for another $1K which still brings you in under the cost of a turbo kit and good engine management.
