hissing sound coming from wht i believe to be the air intake sensor located right behind the air box directly a top the throttle body. seems like some kind of leak at the sensor. should there be some kind of gasket there that needs replacing?

 

You should tell us what model/year you have and what intake first.

 

my00rs? sorry. stock intake box.

 

Maybe try disconnecting the vacume hoses and remove the box to examine it. Try replacing and check if everything is sealed.

 

There are no sensors on the airbox itself. Are you talking about one of the things attached to the throttle body?
