Intake question for 2.2 Non Turbo

Intake question for 2.2 Non Turbo

Can anyone tell me where to get an intake kit for my 1997 Legacy 2.2 ?
I've found kits for the 2.2 Impreza non turbo for the same year but the sellers say they wont fit. The only ones I've found that say they will work are the same kind you can buy off the shelf at Autozone or Pepboys. I dont have a problem with that, if it will work but, if I remove the airbox then clamp the cone and filter to the end of the stock intake hose what supports the cone and filter? I dont want it just flopping around.
Any advice?

You'll probably have to rig up some sort of metal bracket to hold it. I'm not really sure though what intakes are out for your car.

I never figured out a decent solution for the cone filter, so with mine I just used a strip of 1.5" foam and let it rest where the airbox usually is. My ABS module kept it tucked in next to the wheel well, and it never moved... Worked fine, but still wasnt ever much of a power improvement... At least it sounds neat...
