well good news. i brought the car to the dealer today. i guess the wireing harness that plugs into the mass air flow sensor on the intake broke. there are four wires that lead into the plug and one was broken right outside of the clip.. the deale r wants 450.00 for a new harness plus instalation.. that sounds crazy i know. but this is where it gets good. i spliced the wires and extended them and wired some little connectors right up to the mass air flow sensor so they still unplug. boom problem solved for .99 all i needed to buy was the little connectors. at first i thought i was screwed but i had to turn the key back and forth from off to on about thirty times before it would run smooth. then disconect the battery so the check engine light would go off. alright its fixed.
one last thing i am from springfield ma does anyone know where there is a real good subaru dealer around for maitnance because i go to bertera in west springfield. they dont know there dick from there *** when it comes to any kind of modification.
