Car shuddering problems
When it's a bit cold outside and I'm driving the car seems to shudder. I don't think it's the infamous clutch shudder problem. For example... I'll be getting onto a highway and I'll put it into 3rd gear and I'll press on the gas. The car will go but, I notice the car jerking and slightly jumping. Anyone else have this problem??

Does it feel like hesitation? My car hestitates between 2500 and 3000rpm with over half throttle. It feels like a couple of flat spots in that rev range, it's most noticeable in 3rd and 4th gears. Mine is an '03 WRX with 4000 miles. Think I'll get the dealer to take a look at next oil change.

MY CAR HAS shudder too when I start the engine cold. this shudder is happen often when the engine is cold.
Is it normal?
The hesitation will gone once the engine is warm up.

You may have a faulty one, it happens.

hesitation is normal when cold, but when the clutch & engine warm up it shouldnt be a problem anymore, unless you are just at too high of a gear for the speed you are going. if the hesitation doesnt go away when warmed up, then it may be a problem. have it checked out by a dealership and hope they're competent enough to find the problem.

i wouldn't rely on a dealership. you know the warranty work doesn't have to be done by a dealership. other garages can do the work as long as SOA approves it. i wouldn't use a dealership...not after what i have been through with the famous "clutch shudder". its a known and recognized problem and they still won't fix it.

Boneamania - My dealership is replacing my clutch on Monday because I have cold chatter. I told the service rep to look up technical sernice bulletin 03-51-02. He got on the phone right away, and ordered my new clutch, another WRX in Sarnia has been through 3 transmissions because of CCC. I hope mine is fixed before it does any damage to the tranny.

i just got mine taken care of today, they are ordering the parts and next friday, the 13th!! i am getting my clutch 
finally. i let my dad take it in this time. its sad how they treat older people better. kids are there future customers...i would think they would be more important to a business, but i guess not! i think i am going to make a post about it in general
