header question
Hey, new to this forum, and I got a quick question. I drive a stock 2000 RS, and I must make modifications now that I finally have a job that pays monry. Does anyone know how COBB tuning headers stack up to the Borla headers? The Cobbs are mild steel versus the Borla's T-304 aluminium, is there a difference in reliability versus the two? How about power gains?
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

SPO Motorsports in conjunction with BORLA Performance Industries R&D Dept. have redesign a 4th gen. header. The newly revised header is rerouted and has less bends for improved performance and is stronger with perfect fit and finish. No more rattles or cracking. Plus better exhaust flow for better performance than before. Of course the header is 100% air craft-quality T-304 Stainless Steel and comes with BORLA’s exclusive Million Mile Guarantee.
borlas sound better.imo
hella cheaper too.
cobbs a little better performance wise.
no boxer sound with cobbs.

though i assume its an rs because ur talkin gabout an s-afc.
anyways. pull the cel, its really hard to just guess and then we can guess much more accurately!
its probably a cat inefficiency though, are your headers wrapped/coated?

A search will always tell you more than we can....
Cobb headers/ cat combo, since you need their cat to fit their headers, make almost twice as much as adding borlas. Borlas with a nice high flow cat will make a nice gain and sound real sweet but still probly 5hp less than cobb.
