H2O danger?
I have just purchased a 2000 2.5RS with no engine mods, I am taking it slow due to an upcoming country-wide road trip.
Bottom line, am I in any danger of damaging anything with a COBB CAI if I hit any heavy rain/puddles?
Any info would be great, I am DYING to get this project underway!
Thanks

I have yet to have any problems and the no WOT through puddles suggestion is always lost on me. The Cobb draws air through the very tippy top of the fender, same place as stock, so it's not nearly as bad as one down low. For safety's sake, you can always plug the vent to the fender. That should stop some of the water.

The only intakes that are likely at all to hydro lock are the Injen and AEM cold air intakes which stuff the cone filter way down low in the fender. All the others are ok if you aren't mistaking your Scooby for a Humvee with a fording kit.
