Dealer Installed Mods
I am new to this forum, and will be pickiing up my new '03 TS in 2 weeks. Are there any SPT mods that are worthwhile and not too hugely expensive that a Subaru dealership will do, so that there are absolutely no problems voiding any warranties?

SPT products do not carry warranty and may even be used to void it by some dealers. It is mostly good stuff, but you can get other parts that are equally as good for less money, or better parts for the same money.

Congrats on the TS! I prolly am getting a wrx next month, but I considered the TS very seriously, and it's not 100% decided yet...
You can do a lot to the TS, I have looked into this. The first things to do are: get the wrx (wagon) rear sway bar (17mm) for tighter, quicker steering response; and upgrade the tires/rims, pref. to 16" rims. This will make a BIG difference to the handling! Also, subaruparts.com has all kinds of stuff, basically every accesory like cargo net, mat, bumper guard...
The TS doesn't have a trunk light!!! But subaruparts.com does...
After that, it's up to you (I'm not into hardcore modding, I assume you aren't either or you'd get a rex), but suspension and exhaust mods are possible. Keep a good open dialog with your dealer/service garage to stay under warranty. I'm sure they do the rear sway bar switch all the time for TS and RS's.
Good Luck! Post info/updates on the TS as you do stuff. Not everyone on this board is exclusively about the wrx!
