The hardest part is not taking the turbo off but putting it back on. What i did was bought oil clamps from my local autoparts shop and not use the butterfly ring on the oil return part of the turbo which is located on the bottom of the turbo. Also have a friend help you with that part or its gonna be a long time by yourself. Also when installing the turbo inlet to the turbo put a rag under the inlet hose and pull up it makes it easier to get on the turbo. Make sure on the oil feed bolt you mark where the holes are on top the bolt that way when you tighten it you can match the holes in the bolt with the same direction the oil flows.

The amout of time it takes to take it off and put it on varies by quite a bit. It takes my friend (STi mechanic) less than an 45 mins take a turbo off and put it back on with everything installed. I've heard some people take as long as 3-4 hours to take it off and put ot back on. I'd probably guess it would take you 2-2.5 hours based it being your 1st time and on your mechanical ability.

I'll keep ya posted. I will also give a review of my new turbo back exhaust system. I wanted a Scoobysport but when I called Hayward & Scott ( in the UK ) they said that the 2.5" would only be good for aprox 375hp. So they custom built me a 3". They said that it was their first one so I will be giving them feedback as well. It only cost about $40 more then the 2.5 from Ralli Spec, and that also included shipping. I can't believe that all the WRC cars are running 2.5 so this must be some kind of variation of the same system.

Thats a lot of work for 45mins even with 2 people, but I'd be most impressed if he can do it that fast.
