Those of you with BOV's VTA

Those of you with blow off valves that vent to the atmosphere..

Did you plug the recirc hose at the stock BPV side or the turbo inlet pipe side?

Plug the hose...

I've heard the instructions say to remove the hose and plug it at the inlet...that's nuts..

It's much more convenient to plug the hose...this is so when you get tired of hearing the bov...you can easily replace your stock bypass valve...now, if you had to replace the hose...that bov would probably be on your car for the rest of its life...that hose is kind of pain to get to...

most of the instructions do tell you to plug the hose.

Ok, thanks.

I'll plug the hose. Makes things a lot easier that way anyway

How so?

I'll find out firsthand soon enough, but I'm just curious.
Some people say they never even noticed a difference and other people say it made thier car run horrible.. it's wierd.

Yea, when I first got my K&N Typhoon it definitly had me driving around with a big old grin on my face
Once I got an exhaust it made it sound even better. The DP seems like it amplified the BPV and I also get the sound of the turbo spooling down with the whoosh from the BPV.

I guess I've always loved the sound of the SSQV and unless I try it and get it out of my system, I'll always be wondering about it.
