starting mods?

still new to the subaru scene. i have an 06 wrx wagon. need some suggestions on starting mods for my car.

was looking to slap on helix up/down pipe, hks hiper exhaust, hopefully an apexi avcr with a fc power commander, and a cobb accessport stage 1.

if anyone could give me some suggestions, id appreciate it. thanks!

+1 on training the driver..

It really depends on how much money you want to spend. A good start would be EM like cobb for example. If you have more resources then next whould be a dp and exhaust. Now if you do not want to spend a lot of money then a light weight crank pulley, intake (SPT, K&N, Cobb) can help make the car more responsive for a few bones. I would really start with some sort of EM if you can then build from there. Have fun

yups thanks. i've actually had the car for about a year. but yah still getting use to it, love the feeling. i was looking into getting the cobb AP and downpipe and exhaust together. then proll intake, up pipe and boost controller. thanks for the advice!

Just so you know..Don't worry about the up pipe because it has no cattalytic converter.....The AP from is all you will as far as a boost controller. If you need more boost than what the AP can provide then you should probably have your car pro-tuned.

Just an FYI...if you go with DP and exhaust, you will need to run the AP Stage 2 map. Stage 1 is not programmed to compensate for the Downpipe. You would probably end up seeing boost spikes and possibly damage your motor.
