I've been reading up on all these stages for STI's.. I'm just confused, well more LOST i suppose..

Stage 1 refers to intake and catback upgrade?
Stage 2 Full turboback and a reflash/chip?
Stage 3 FMIC, Full turboback, intake, wut else?
Stage 4 Upgraded turbo and stage 1 2 and 3??

I know that Cobb sells/offers Stage 1 and Stage 2 upgrade.. are there any other companies out there that sell packages like that? If so can you guys please post up links too

edit- my ultimate goal with the STI is to put out 600+ whp AND wtq.. i'm pretty sure then i'll have to bust a 2.65liter monster

 

A "stage" is just a package or parts that a company feels best works together. What stage it is labeled as is arbitrary. Here are our stages:

Agreed! I have a built motor and ported heads and meth injection and FP Red, etc etc etc and I consider it my Stage 2 so who knows really.

 

I consider mine a ProTuned Stage 2. Its pretty much Cobbs stage 2, but protuned.
