Get stage II, or save for stage III?
I plan on getting a turbo kit for my 01 2.5 RS soon. First I was looking at the ludespeed stage II, I got about 3500 right now. On the old forum though a new thread was started for a ludespeed holiday group buy, I could get the stage III for a few hundred more than the II if enough people participated. I am looking at the stage III because that turbo has future potentail to pump out more power, and includes the link2 ecu so I can fine tune everything and hopefully not destroy my engine. So what should I do, get stage II and save a little, or go with the stage III and not have to get any more stuff in the future?

Well look what we have here... I have waited years for this.
Look at these morose motherers right here. Smells like someone **** in their cereal... BUNG! That was sweet.
to the fact that EVO's need more computing power to run the tranny and diffs than what is needed to say in this post. I'll take my Rick Moranis strength, all-mechanical, properly oriented, north-south, old fashioned gearbox.

What makes you think it's coming with all that.
There were plenty of GSX eclipse and other ones without it.

Another option is that you could buy somebody elses turbo kit. You know from the average person who is going to sell the kit and the car seperately. Its alot cheaper then $3500 that way. In fact its cheap enough that you could get a replacement ECU with the cost difference.
Oh and don't knock an Evo until you drive one. Those cars really are everything you hear. Simply the best brand new car I've ever test driven. Especially when the sticker on the window only said about $27K after the Yen conversion. If you want to compare a stock fully mechanical style of transmission then I'll take a GTI-R cause having LSDs front and year with over sized gears as stock is a good thing.
