short ram question

i bought a fujita short ram intake off my friend and i tried it with the snorkel connected and then disconnected and i felt like the car ran better with it on rather than off.

am i just trippin'? or have some of you experienced the same thing with other short rams?

The stock scoop acts like a cold air intake. I left mine on after i installed my SARD short ram, theres nothing to lose from leaving it on
