#s for Boosting jdm
#s for Boosting jdm
I bought a greddy boost gauge (jdm) so it tells me the boost like .5 or .7 so forth.
I have an 06 STi...stock. At aproximately what number should i be boosting at WOT?
My car only has around 2500 miles atm. Havn't gone in for the first oil change yet, which i need to really soon. Is there such thing where the computer is programmed at first so it is not producing max boost?
please if any information is known, let me know. thanks

If it is setup like my 2005, boost is 14.7lbs (1.0 bar). Now define what you describe as 'max boost' - the OEM setting is that of the manufacturer's setting and doesn't vary from there. If you wish to change it you would need a ECM remap or a manual boost controller to turn it up more.

If you were put at 1.5 bar with no modificiations to your computers map and any additional mods to support it, you'd be asking for serious problems in the near future. So good call.
