prepping for stage 2
so apparently my warranty just ended 2 weeks ago, so i guess i can start lightly modding it.
car: 06 sti
mileage: 75xxx
mods: motor(stock), just basically cosmetic mods(coilovers, lip kit)
these are the parts im working with, just been sitting on them until my warranty expired
HKS tbe(catless downpipe + HKS Hi power catback)
AEM CAI
APv2
i did some research earlier and i didnt really find an exact answer
my main issue/question is, am i able to run the OTS Stage 2 map with those parts without hurting anything? i dont know if it has to be catless or catted dp for that map, or if i can run a CAI with it also. or would i just need to do a protune right off the bat. should i just sell the catless dp for a catted one and the cai for a cobb or spt one or just run the stock intake
what would be the easier/best route?
thanks for any input in advance.

In my opinion, the best route would be to install your turboback and AP with the ACN91 Stage 2 map. I would skip the CAI until you get a protune.
If you are planning on sticking with these mods for while, I would also suggest a protune as soon as possible. Make sure you talk to your tuner before as well and get their opinion on what you should do. Hope this helps!

The cobb OTS map will be just fine. The intake you won't get ANY gains other than noise and more noise.

That intake isnt supported with cobb OTS map. Do what the last two guys said and skip it until you get a protune or just sell it to get some cash back. An intake isnt necessary until you started upgrading your car drastically like turbo.. internals.. intercooler.. and whatnot. But of course they do sound pretty cool

It "not" supported, its perfectly fine to run, I would suggest against it with a bigger build when its specific to whatever suction you have.. They say that so they can sell their SF intake.

Don't run the Cobb maps. I suggest selling the AP and getting an Opensource tune.
Or if you have bigger plans stay stock untill you get all your parts for a disired WHp and slap it all at once then tune.

With my 06 STi, I went to FLI and had them install a UEL header, up-pipe, invidia catless DP and 3" cat back with a Cobb AP and pro tune. With 17 lbs of boost I am at 288 whp and 311 ft lbs.
You can run the Cobb AP ACN91 stage 2 map, but to get the best out of your vehicle, go get a pro tune.

Do some research on "subaru+CAI" and you will find they are not necessary at that power level. I would STRONGLY recommend running the stock airbox and avoiding all the stupid issues like your motor running lean, risking hydrolocking the motor if you go near some water, having to wash and replace a filter that sits in the bumper instead of under the hood, and having that big shiny pipe that a cop could point to and say "that doesn't belong!--TICKET!"
If you really want that "woosh" sound you get from a CAI or short-ram intake, just do the silencer delete for almost the same effect.
