Well Im installing another motor in my 2007 STI got all my stuff going engine on the hoist so on and so on. Got the engine lowered in and i realized i couldnt get it close to the tranny to mount cuz the motor mounts were still attached. Do I need to move the tranny to drop the motor in or is there an easier way to do this that Im just not seeing right now?

 

jack the tranny up and slide in at an angle.
