What cella re you throwing?

ppl wrap their downpipes to mostly reduce under hood temps,

and those JDM headers look equal length, wonder if those jdm wrx's sound like inline 4s ;(

Has anyone tried wrapping their aftermarket headers??? What about wrapping their stock ones?? I figured wrapping them would help retain gas temps and velocity....Or maybe i am confused and wrapping is soley to keep bay temps down??

I got my XXTuning/GTSpec headers in recently. I haven't installed them yet. I will install them by the end of this month along with my ported and thermal coated VF34. By the way, the headers you see in this picture are infact thermal coated inside and out believe it or not....no dark purple welding spots. The coating on the header and VF34 exhaust side were done by Airborn(spelling?) Coatings and they do coat components for NASA. Also, have you ever seen an exhaust side brighter and shinier than the compressor side of a turbo?? Look....

Very good point.
