Exhaust Inquiry.
Exhaust Inquiry.
I have two questions.
I tried searching the entire forum and I'm sure someone will link me to the correct topic or website. I'm trying to find comparisons for exhaust systems, preferably with dyno results. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can do my research? I've already been through the product review sectioon of this site. Just looking for more information so saturate my brain with.
Last but not least, I'm worried that I will have fitment issues when it comes time to adding a DP and/or MP to my cat-back exhaust system. How can I avoid something like that?
Thank you in advance. (:

avoid titek and v3 helix.
Crucial and Stromung both make exhaust systems that have great fitments.
I know there are some nasioc technical threads on turbo data, but what you're looking for might be more difficult to come by.
Divorced wastegate downpipes are a little more whistly dew to two pipes at the exhaust opening. This is supposed to reduce turbulence from the wastegate to the turbine exhaust stream.
There are also some bellmouth downpipes that have a splitter plate in them that separates the exhaust streams.
The best exhaust is one with as few bends as possible, and flows smooth.
