from my experience with those types of bulbs and from what i read, having any sort of coating on the bulb is filtering out some of the light therefore reducing the brightness of the bulb. so basically you will get worse vision and a blue tint to your headlight pattern. you're only gonna blind people if you have your headlights aimed too high. if you're looking for bulbs that will give you better vision, i'd say go for the sylvania xtravisions or silverstars. if you want to go rice, get the blue ones.

Only buy thoes bulbs if you want your car to look cool when your looking at it from the outside. The acutal brighness will be less due to the fact that there is a blue tint in the glass of the bulb, acting as a flter. the picture that the seller has on that page you posted is of a halogen head light and the other of of a real hid head light. thoes bulbs they are selling will not give you the same ammount of light that is in thoes pics. if you want to get better vision go w/ a set of Osram Silverstar bulbs. Here in the states we get the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs but they arnt as bright as the ones that Osram sells in eruope. you can get them form powerbulbs.com i believe. They wont give you the "cool" blue light effect but they will give you a lot more light than stock.

how do you get the osram bulbs to fit into the headlight? we use 9007 bulbs which does not exist in the uk. is there an equivalent bulb that we can use in place of the 9007? or is there a wiring adapter or kit to allow you to change the connector? i really wanted the osram ones, but i settle for the sylvania.
