Ok I seem to be burning oil ! I start to notice that my oil temp. gage starts to go nuts once I'm about a quart low. I got 2004 Sti I've bin noticing that about 800 or so I burn off about a Quart or so. So i talked to a dealer and told them that I'm down to the LOW mark in about 800 miles. So they told me that I had to come in for the oil Test. The first time I went back about 1200 miles I was under the LOW mark not much tho. But there like O thats normal !! About 500 miles later I was about to go on a 200 mile trip so I figured I best let the car site over night and make sure I'm not to low for the trip. The next morning I came out and pulled the dip stick I was at the LOW mark at 500 miles but I was ok, They did say come back in a 1000 miles. Know its Monday after the trip I figured I'm close to a 1000 miles I will go in to put in on the record that I was low a 750 + Miles. I showed up and they let me site for 10 - 20 minutes but I figured there letting the oil drain. When they cam out to look at the oil first time he pulled the stick it was almost full and I was like no way do it again he did it 3 more time after that and they all were Different and instead of letting it site little more they only called it half. Trust me it was a guess plus after 4 tries he was still not to sure what it was plus he did not seem to bright. I Dam well know what the hell I'm doing I worked on cars most my life plus I changed oil for 4 years. I think there trying to bull **** me so that my extended warranty runs out and they don't have to fix it! Does anyone have a main Subby number I could call and get some Q?'s asked and not have the dealer try to tell me !!!!
