Broken gearbox my car wont go into gear when started 2006 sti

Hey guys okay so today I was driving my 06 Sti and I recently installed an act street 6 puck sprung clutch and act streetlight flywheel in June. Ever since I installed that the flywheel would rattle really hard when taking off but it was fine. So today I decide to launch my car and my car won't go Into gear when it's on but when I shut it off it goes in and out of gear fine and if try to put it in gear and then start it it won't start. And then if I turn the key back into the off position it's hard to get it out of first gear to put it back Into neutral I have to yank it hard to get it out. What could of possible happened I had to get the car towed.

I'd bet dollars to donuts that its something with your clutch. My old SE-R I did the same thing, installed my own clutch and the clutch wouldnt disengage, I could turn the car off and put it in gear and start it but the car would lurch forward. Like xhengman said I would start over and check all clutch components.

I would have to say its your clutch, I had my 6speed torn apart and the only thing I had to replace was 3 synchronizer, bearings, and other stuff.. My 5th Gear grind like crazy but my center diff and gears had no damage. The problem was the shift forks (05 shift forks plastic tabs fall off) replaced with 2014 Forks Yay.. 6speed trans is strong and can take a lot!!!!
