so i was driving and i went from first gear to second to third and when i was gonna go into fourth gear it didnt let me... i put it on neutral and try to go back to third but it got stuck and wont get into any gear... what is wrong with my car? can it be that i killed my transmission? my car only has 21k mileage

 

I have a similar issue with my car, i have a 2012 subaru wry with 17k and i have experience a grind when i shift into 3rd gear, and it only does it in 3rd gear. all other gear shift good. have you had any luck determine the cause of your problem? by the way my name is alex

 

u had any mods done to the trans? like putting in shifter bushings? If so, I had a similar issue where i couldn't put my gear into 5th. It was due to the alignment pin was not fully engaged. Hope that helps.

 

hey guys, i brought it to the dealer and they told me my clutch is dead. they replaced my clutch for free under warranty and said they replace it free the first time.

 

Damn clutch already? Are you racing at the track?
