When im driving and i look at the stck boost gauge sometimes it will go up to .05 and then it will only go to .10. Do you guys know what the problem could be. It happens on and off. Like sometimes its fine itll boost all the way and at other times it just dosent boost right. The only mods i have a are a muffer delete.

 

try disconnecting the connector on the negative battery terminal next time it happens then push the brake a few times. then reconnect the cable. this may fix the problem but i have found it is only a matter of time until it happens again. my car has been acting up like this too and im going to take it to a shop soon to try to figure out whats wrong or what sensor is bad.

 

wait.... when you drive around your boost changes... oh my god.

 

Don't you work at a dealership? Have them take a look at it.

Just for your information....
0.1 megapascal = 14.503773801 pound/square inch

14.5 psi is how much boost your car produces stock.






edit: One question for you...what is a Muffler delete? You are running with no muffler on your car? that **** must be loud!

See thats the thing sometimes it dosent boost to 14.5 it only boosts half way.

 

you are in 1st gear you wont boost 14

 

1st and 2nd gear boost less.

 

That part i established but even in 3 and 4th. I reset my ecu and now it works fine its just sometimes it does that.
