hi guys my friend has a 2005 sti and he is look ing to do a turbo upgrade and we would like to know what would be the best kit or turbo for him. What he is looking for is something that is street reliable and that does not have that much lag.

what kind of hp numbers is he looking to find?

 

well he whats to make like 400whp but i told him not to expect that much i think the most he could get is like 320whp to 360whp with tunnig and extras.

 

i have been look ing at this turbo but i didnt know if he would like it

 

The thing is that i own a 2005 Evo and he wants to make as much power as me right now im at 300awhp with intake,TBE,MBC,and a tune. and he just wants to be faster than my car.

 

just tell him get intake, full exhaust, and EM+TUNE - and he should be well over 340hp

Try a Forced Performance or Deadbolt TD06 20G. He should also upgrade the injectors and fuel pump and have a Cobb or Ecutek tune by a qualified tuner. This will give him the horsepower he wants with not much lag.
