Hey everyone I was just curious about the actual differences between the 04-05 wrx stock intercoolers compared to the 06-07 intercoolers. Are they interchangeable? Would it be wised and possible to throw on a 06-07 intercooler onto an 04 wrx? Just asking because my stock intercooler is kinda damaged and was thinking of replacing it with either an 06-07 intercooler or one of the ebay big top mounts. Let me know what you guys think, thanks.

 

I know the IC on my 02 is way different than the one on my buddies 06 TR. I'm not 100% positive but I think you would have to go with different mounting brackets and who knows if there is a place to mount them on a 2.0 liter block.
