stock is always best unless you are highly moddified or are tuned for the intake.

If you call Cobb, they tell you the setup runs better with something like a K & N Drop in, instead of a short RAM. I've talked to people who favor both sides, but the bottom line is you can't do any damage with the drop in, where as you can do damage by leaning out the engine with the short ram if it's not tuned for it.

Sorry, but no. Around 80mph, you can hear like a slighty high pitched noise, but nothing like the woosh of an intake or short ram. If you really want to do it, you should get it tuned for the intake, or spend some money and get a new blow off valve if you really want the woosh noise.

If you really want the whoosh noise go with either a Cobb Short ram or SPT intake since those intakes don't affect the lean conditions compared to the other intakes out there, plus you don't need to get it tuned just run the cobb off the shelve stage 2 map.

its coming on thursday. i guess i'm just gonna keep the k&n typhoon on, but if it feels different it's coming off. thanks for the input guys i appreciate it. one more question, can the accessport read my boost or do i need to get a boost gauge? i'm gonna get one anyway, but it would be nice if it has that option. i just dished out 700 bucks and another 350 isn't too pretty either. thanks again

The accessport can read LIVE boost. No problem digital too.

No. Cobb says a short RAM or cold air isn't made for the stage 2. They tell you a high flow drop in filter is best.
