okay so im changing this thread cause im not to sure what im going to end up doing now .

i guess with a vf34 i was kinda overkill with my supporting mods .

so this time im gunna post what parts i have and im stuck with and you guys suggest what turbo to go with


the mod list


660cc injectors
manual boost controller
helix upipe
helix dp
helix exhaust
255fp
aps FMIC
aps bov
EWG tial 38mm
alky/water injection
CAI (im almost positve im going to put it back to stock )
cobb apv2

my car isnt be driven so dont flip and think im driven with 660 injectors on a stock turbo .

its been garaged for most of this past year .

well if its gona be in the 260+ whp then i would not drive it til it has a new stronger tranny.

when i buy it thats when i will send everthing to get port and polished .

then after a weekend of installation , im gunna be happy to be driving again .


so what do you guys think

270 whp 91octane+meth ??


im telling you i would never have had these parts if i didnt loose my Ls .

ive never saved money like this before .
Whos know what your car will make...

If you are going meth why not go with a bigger turbo?

everything sounds good man but with the vf 34 you don't need that APS fmic its way to big for that turbo just go with a bigger tmic it will responded a lot faster than the fmic would go fmic if your going to run a 18g or bigger turbo

They are right, everything about that build list is way overkill for a VF34. The way you have them all lumped together here doesn't seem like a solid plan -- it seems like a shop saw your money wad and started to drool. The port and polish in particular is just window dressing, I've never seen dyno or 1/4 mile times that made such a thing worthwhile at such low WHP (same goes for the BOV). In particular meth injection and a FMIC seems like a nasty setup to tune -- the whole point of meth is to cool the intake charge, thus removing the need for extra intercooling in the first place. FMIC setups pull vacuum for longer and take longer to spool up (you have several thousand extra CCs of air to move) so that meth spray might arrive early, before the air does, if it is linked to boost timing in the ECU. Add an accessport (which does NOT support meth injection) and and external wastegate and you've got trouble.

The VF34 is a perfectly matched turbo for that motor, it needs no supporting mods besides "pink" injectors, a STI fuel pump and colder spark plugs and a tune to max out what it can do.

thanks guys .

ive kinda changed the topic of this thread .

i guess with me not driving my car this past year and wanting to make nice numbers i was just thinkin out of controll .

so i fixed the thread with what parts im stuck with .

and now im asking what turbo .

i want 290+ whp

so td05 18g sounds good right ?

thats better with the fmic and alky right ?
