what rpm should i be hitting full boost at?

so i just upgraded to a fmic with my vf34 and supporting mods running a base map utec stage 4. anyways, i thought ive been having a boost leak but i hit 1.17 bar this morning. it feels good but when i had my stock tmic, it would fully spool at 4k rpm. now its 5k. is it normal with a fmic? mahalos

Do a test for me, on a freeway, throw it in 3rd or 4th, and hit the gas, when your boost needle goes above vacuum see where the RPM's are, and what RPM's you are full boosting at. With A FMIC they make lots of power, and spool time, it should be around normal, but I just want to make sure with that test.

Yes but hawaii has a few tuners that will tune under "Real world" Dyno graphing which would be a tuner in the passenger seat, graphing and tuning the car while you do 3rd gear pulls on say a airport strip. Just do the pulls on the freeway and there should be normal results, the fact is FMIC setups make good power, and big spool times.

WHat a bummer to me! I thought Oahu had a AWD Dyno, but I guess not. Just hit the H1 or possibly hit the H3 Freeway and do some pulls with the tuner. I know and have heard of some good WRX Tuners up there so i'm sure they know of a few spots where you can let loose and do some WOT Pulls. I need to get my car tuned as well because I seem to be experiencing a similar issue to yours in where my car lags with the upgraded turbo, and then all of a sudden it just kicks.
