Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

what is the best mod to reduce/eliminate turbo lag?

Intakes will not increase low end on a WRX. Intakes have actually been proven to do next to nothing on youre average WRX.
NOS wont help with low end either

Best mods for decreasing turbo lag:

Intercooler hoses (AKA samco or perrin, shown to give 5-10hp surprizingly and drop the point where the turbo spools about 250-500 rpms)

Boost controler, Cheap way to give the car more boost in general, also a good option would be the ECU reflash which equates to ~30 more horsepower including faster spool up.

Flywheel or Lightweight pulley, reducing drivetrain weigh equates to faster reving equates to turbo spooling up faster

Uppipe/downpipe/exhaust systems in general increase turbo spooling, exept for some headers seem to decrease the cars low end so stick with the stock header until you do more ressearch.

Good enough?

Also, the hoses are a CINCH, just unclamp, replace, reclamp!!!!!! u dont even need directions, just no sticking screw drivers in the hoses OKAY??

Btw, these hoses are made of silicon, remember that some of the best ******* in he world are made of this stuff!

Tuning, cams and more displacement don't hurt though
