vf22 owners or experts please help engine something

i really dont know what it could be. i have a ported vf22 with all supporting mods. and a utec and turboxs fmic with hks ssq bov. it was running perfect no issues what so ever. i was driving tonight and i hit 3rd gear and got on it. as soon as the rpm's start to rise past 5500 it feels like my engine hit a brick wall or the fuel suddenly cut off. so i thought a little creed here and there it will work its way out of the system i was wrong. it keep on doing it. i have my boost set at 18 psi. i tried closing the abc all the way still does it i try opening the abc all the way same thing. its hard trying to watch the boost gauge when you are moving this fast. this monster ported vf22 really takes off. but if i were to have boost spikes is that a syntom. it feels like someone punched my engine or jerked it really hard. how do i know if its boost spikes. someone help

Thumbs up

No, but all joking aside. I've seen this problem before. It's just your fuel injectors that are clogged. Those STP fuel injector cleaners don't really work for ****, it's much easier (and cheaper) to get a couple bottle of brake fluid and a funnel, and put it in your gas tank. Then drive the car really hard. That should fix your problem right away. Let us know how it works. Good luck.

not exactly sure if there is a function in utec to override the ecu fuel cut off feature but Br1t1shguy might be right.
The engine will save itself from too much boost that it may be seeing from boost spike. I have a new HKS FCD (fuel cut defender) available , pm me if intrested (shameless plug)

over boost

The utec is set for 20.5 psi fuel cut off. You can change this in the parameters section under your tuning maps. If your turbo spikes over 20.5 its going to cut fuel for safety. With your set-up I would bet you are.

To see if this is really the issue, log a run with it cutting back. You can see how much boost you are pushing when it cuts back.
