Tranny experts help please!! STi RA set

ive had quite a past with transmissions, im known for destroying them.

Here's the deal. Broke 2nd in stock box 2x. Fed up with the crappy parts. Bought a built STi RA gearset with case... had the trans swapped out.

new 5th gear will not work. Grinds, goes into gear... pops out after any throttle is applied.

all synchros are new, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th shift flawlessly. What could cause 5th to pop out like this?

I called the builder immediately and he said the hub could have been installed backwards. He also said that we can access 5th without taking the transmission completely out of the car.

I need some help!!!!! paid aamco 600 bucks for the R&R, lookin like that was all for nothin... ugh, im gonna go yak

any help or comforting thoughts would be kick@ss

The Gearsets are definitely strong take it back tell them to fix the damn thing for free like they should.

oh i should note that its probably the hub in the gear thats popping out of place. I have heard stories of the hubs being installed incorrectly with these results. Perhaps this is the case here as well.
