It takes a while to install an up-pipe. It took me around 5 hours with a buddy to install it. If you head over to scoobymods.com or read this faq: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=194 it will help you out with installation. The hardest part for myself and my friend was lifting the engine a couple of inches to take the stock uppipe out and put the new one back in. Another really hard part of installation was getting the TMIC back into its hoses, it was a real sucker fitting the tubing back on, we had to fasten some sort of harness and pull it back onto it while fitting another tube on a different part of the intercooler at the same time. If you have patience than installation will be a breeze... just remember to plug in the intake wires.. i forgot to and my car was choking for air 8-O

Next time only pull off the tb hose, and unbolt the ic from the y hose, it's alot easier to screw in the 4 12mm bolts to thr ic than it is to push on those darn hoses.

Thumbs up go for it

its not that hard at all. just takes time and alot of swearing. use lots of liquid wrench and have a breaker bar handy. you might also wanna have a deep 14mm socket handy. it took me about 4-5 hrs with alot of smoke breaks.

yeah I did mine, taking off the intercooler is a must, the thing that sucks is that you have to take off a lot of parts to get to one part.

suspending the turbo off of a strut tower bar is nice if you have one, that way you don't have to dissconect the turbo. Unbolting the engine mounts and raising the car with a jack and a phone book on the oil pan worked great.
