whether you plug the bung up is up to you. If you just replace the EGT probe, you won't need the resistor. If you plug the hole, you will need the resistor. It doesn't matter which orientation you place the resistor (if you plug the hole and thus, need it).

you can also go to auto zone, kragen or any other auto parts store i think the size is 12M the threading is very fine i think 1.25 not shure. good luck oh and yes plug up the bung instead of using the old sensor dont want that sensor breaking off and getting into your turbo.

m12x1.25 30mm long bolt for the EGT bung.
Put some JB weld on the threads, torque it tight and done.

JBweld is a devil... use the bolt (cut to the correct size if neccessay), add a copper crush washer and red lok-tite it down and leave for 24hours.

just go buy a Helix uppipe. save the OEM uppipe for future use (when you sell your car).
