Upping the Power
Probably an up-pipe and turboback would be good to start off with. Then if you still want more, a larger turbo and reflash. The uppipe and turboback would probaby set you back about 850 new for the helix up/down/catback, if you get used parts even cheaper.

Here is an easy way to add 25 whp to your WRX and it will only set you back $595. You can install your self in seconds and you have the option of adding the parts that my2003wrx is talking about later and then changing to a map that fits your mods. http://cobbtuning.com/wrx/accessport.html
Are you trying to say that my recommendation is not good? Maybe it was a little juvenile, but Cobb Stage 2 is the way to go. I got Helix UP/DP and Borla Cat-Back and I'm waiting on my AP. Should put about 230 to the ground.

Berry, you shut up, I actually agree with your suggestion the most; that's why I declined to restate it

yo. i'm hearing good stuff about the accessport.
i'd vote for Vishnu cuz my friend goes there and he says they are top of the line...
what are the advantages and disadvantages that the Cobb Accessport has when compared to lets say the vishnu re-mapped ECU. is it better to flash, or get a plug and play?

From what I understand, with the accessport, you just flash the ecu once and then you can load whatever map you want. COBB has maps on their website that you can download. Good thing is that, if you load the map for a turboback and decide to upgrade the turbo, all you have to do is load a map to take advantage of it.A downside though, is that it's not as accurate as dyno tuning.

Personally, I think that Cobb is the best. Their maps are powerful yet still conservative enough not to break anything. No, according to Cobb a dealer won't be able to tell that you have a reflash. Unless they see your Cobb sticker.
