Turbo went red

...then i punched it at 5500 rpm 3rd gear, (ran the car hard), i did it twice, than i went home poped my hood to check my resistor pill (because i got the vishnu sub zero flash) then i looked at my turbo and it was glazing red, is this normal? i know its suppose to heat up and be red but it was really really red, maybe it was cuz it was so dark but anyone ever experience this?

From: Are you too one of the few still living the past? Well I can change that! With a simple wicket. Yes, my friend, a wicket. PM for details.
Car Info: No car right now....sob.
There's a mgic button called search....I have seen pictures of this. It's a rare phenomena, it means you're running low on boost fluid. Better check that out.

That happens to my brother's SRT-4 after a hard run... I've seen that happen to my STi couple of times as well. No wonder CAI won't do any good!
