What are all the mods that you must do to run a pe1820 besides fuel inj, fuel pump. I have full txs tbe, no cats, txs utec, and helix flex up pipe. Please be specific. I am pretty serious about upgrading the turbo next. I was looking at the vf30, but it sounds like the pe 1820 or 1818 might be the way to go.

thats about it!! fuel injectors, pump, TB exhaust, up-pipe, ecu management, Colder sparkplugs, maybe a larger TMIC or FMIC. Later when you go through the clutch you have...get an upgraded one....thats it, you have almost everything.

I have heard mixed reviews on those turbos. So, I really cant say.

I just got into the PE turbos by getting the 1818. Loved it, no issues....I knew that when I upgraded it would be the PE1820. So, I just stayed with the PE turbo...again, no complaints.

I got it for $3,000 + my stock tranny. I got if from my friend "BADWRX" who went back to stock and moved out of state. He got if from Japan since he is in the service and lived there for 3-4 years...he had contacts. Same thing when he got S202 STi rims, and Sti Cluster Gauge...which I have now

I think Gruppe-s sells the trannys too, for about the same price. Try thier website.

with my 1820 I get full bost from 4000-4200 RPM's. not to bad with a big turbo. with my 6 speed....there are no lag issues. Are you going to upgrade to a 6 speed?, or RA gears?....it will help alot with lag compared to the 5 speed.

just remember the only real weakness is the tranny, so if you hook it up, you will be good. Hope your project goes well for you.
